I have an electric GE range that is five years old. The oven is not heating properly and the preheat stays on for over an hour for temperature settings over 350. The broil function works fine. The wife sprayed oven cleaner in it before reading the cleaning instructions. What could be the issue and how can it be fixed?

I have a black rubber-type residue in my Maytag top-loading washing machine. It appears in the drum during the wash cycle and is left on the clothes after the wash is finished. I have tried using vinegar but it is still there. How do I get rid of it?

I have a GECafe stove that stopped working properly after using the self-cleaning mode. Now, when I try to bake, the oven only goes to 100 degrees and shows a square box with the temp of 100 degrees, no matter what temperature I input. I even unplugged the power to try and reset it. How do I clear it?

I have a Fisher Paykel electric dryer that was recently moved from Idaho to Arizona. When plugged in, there was a hot electrical smell but no smoke, and the dryer worked. However, the inside became very hot after use. After unplugging and letting it sit for a day, when plugged in again, the inside warmed up in a few minutes before being turned on. What could be the issue?
