A client has a 2000 side-by-side 48" Amana refrigerator. The technician says that parts need to be replaced and are not available anymore: Evaporator #12197201 and Heat Exchanger #12333601. Can these parts still be found anywhere? If not, is it possible to rebuild the refrigerator with other parts? The seller's Realtor is trying to save them $8,000, with an additional $2,500 for custom panels to match the cabinets.
