My Maytag Performa fridge model no PBF1951HEW has no voltage to the compressor, and the only indication of power is that the internal lights work. The fridge has been off for 24 hours, and it is a bottom freezer unit. Both control knobs are located at the center front of their modules. How can I temporarily override the defrost feature if the fridge is stuck in defrost?

I am cleaning my LG Tromm front-loading washer that has a significant buildup of scum inside and around the rubber seal. My first attempt at running the 'tub clean' cycle resulted in a blocked drain. After cleaning the filter and wiping down the rubber seal, I am re-running the 'tub clean' cycle, but there is still considerable buildup deep in the rubber seal and the tub. How do I remove this scum, and is there a more effective disinfectant than bleach? Additionally, what causes this buildup, how often should I use a product like Affresh, and why does my Kenmore front-loading washer not have the same issue? Are there any other maintenance suggestions for the LG Tromm?

I have a Sears Kenmore Elite Washer/Dryer stack unit, model #XXXXX, which is about six years old. The dryer will run for a few minutes and then stop, even if the heating cycle is not used. It still heats when it runs. Sometimes it can be restarted immediately, and other times it needs to be waited on. What could be the issue and how can it be fixed?

I have a Kenmore Elite microwave/convection oven, model #721.80822500. I got an F5 error code, changed the humidity sensor, and it now works okay with the microwave. However, when I use the convection function, I still get the F5 error after pre-heating for 30 seconds. Could this be an issue with the thermostat or another component?

My Bosch washer won't complete a cycle and leaves water after every wash. A technician checked and said the pump was clear. I've tried running it empty with bleach, Cascade, and vinegar. What should I do next?

I have a GE electric double oven, Model # XXXXX Serial #TM6811600. The top oven has digital control. Recently, while baking, the oven quit and flashed "F2" on the read out. On another occasion it flashed "F3". The oven will set, preheat and warm for about 15 minutes and then either the F3 or F2 code flashes and the oven shuts off. The bottom oven continues to work just fine. We don't have a repair center in our area. Is this something we can order parts for and correct ourselves? My husband is quite efficient when it comes to repairs.
