My Maytag refrigerator model MSD2572VEW01 has a problem where the lever for dispensing water and ice cubes has stopped working. The lights on the panel work, and the refrigerator is still making ice cubes, but nothing happens when I try to get water or ice cubes. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

My LG dishwasher model # XXXXX DS4821BB is not draining and is giving an OE code. Water is standing in the tub. Would it damage anything by running compressed air up the drain line to dislodge anything, or is that the wrong approach? I also saw something online about a temp sensor working loose and blocking a microswitch. Is this possible or not likely?
