My microwave is not heating when I set the time and start it, even though everything else seems to be working. I have checked the door switches and they appear to be functioning correctly. A part on the door of my Maytag 3000 snapped and now it will not close. It looks to be a plastic part of the hinge assembly. Do I need to replace the entire hinge or just the plastic part?

My Electrolux Nimble vacuum's brush light is on and it's not working properly since I accidentally sucked up a strap with a hard plastic snap piece. The vacuum is less than a year old and used to pull itself forward, but now I have to push it. The brush doesn't spin, and the vacuum doesn't have the same power. Can I fix this myself?

My electric glass top Amana oven is not working. I have to turn the burner switch on to get power/light up the oven options. The preheat clicks on, the oven light comes on but not heat. If I turn the element/burner switch off, the oven lights go off. The burners do not heat up either, just the indicator light comes on. What could be the issue and how can I troubleshoot it?
