My microwave won't turn off unless I unplug it. It started running on its own and the stop and pause buttons didn't work. Even after resetting by unplugging, it won't stop when plugged in again. Does it stop running when you open the door? Set a glass of water inside, shut the door, and check it in a couple of minutes to see if the water is hot or not. Does it even heat when you just shut the door without setting the control to cook?

I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis Canyon Capacity quietpak 9 electric dryer. The 'loud / soft' cycle signal volume lights keep flashing back and forth with the 'signal' beeping as the dryer is running. The flashing and beeping happens every minute or two. I attempt to pick one of the two settings while it is flashing and beeping, but the dryer doesn't respond. It just keeps on flashing and beeping every minute or so. Since I don't have an owner's manual, I don't know how to fix or troubleshoot. Can you give me some pointers?

I am trying to find out the model of my Thermador Cook 'n' Vent, a down draft vented oven and stove top purchased in late 1993 or 1994. The stove top has 5 burners and the oven dimensions are 19.5 inches tall and 29.5 inches wide. I have already checked the lower panel and grill filter for a sticker with the model and serial number but did not find one. How else can I identify the model?

I have a Whirlpool AWZ 475 washing machine that seems to be frozen. The start light blinks continuously, regardless of the controls I touch or how I set the dial. There is no manual or troubleshooting guide available. What could be causing this issue and how can I reset it?
