My Miele 289-4 vent hood's on/off button flashes when pressed, and the fan does not switch on, although the lights are working. I've tried resetting at the breaker and pressing the on/off button simultaneously with the filter clean indicator button, but the fan still doesn't work. What should I do?

I have a Maytag Bravos MVWX500BW0 top load washer. When set on normal, it completes the cycle until the spin light, but the door lock light isn't lit and it gets stuck with the spin light on only.
