My Miele T9800 electric dryer's door latch closed with the door open, and now I cannot close the door. I tried resetting it by turning off the power at the breaker, but it didn't work. How can I get the latch to release?

I have a Panasonic inverter microwave that we recently bought. The door will not always latch shut, even though the hook mechanism is fine and there is plenty of tension in the spring. I'm not sure if it's hooking inside the microwave's internal mechanism and sensors. Even if you get it to close and it appears to have latched, it won't always start running. What's up with this?

I have a Kitchen Aid refrigerator with a bottom freezer, model number KFC022EVBL1. The hinge on the meat area cover has broken on one side, and it looks like the piece needs to be replaced by removing a panel it is attached to. Can I replace this part myself if I can get the part, and if not, what kind of cost would I be looking at? Where would be the best place to get the part?
