I turned the timer on my washer so that water would start running into it. Later, I smelled something burning, like an electrical burn. When I went back to the washer, the water was in it, but it had not advanced to the wash cycle. I tried another cycle and pushed the knob in, but nothing happened. Can you help? My Kenmore 790.45589905 oven is not heating up. The element does not heat, but I have checked the wires and continuity on both elements, and they seem fine. The control board also shows 120V on L1(P1) and L2(P7) inputs, and 120V on L2 (P7) output. With Bake or Broil on, I have 120V on one wire connected to each element but nothing on the other wire. What could be the issue, and what should I check next?

My KUDS30IXBL0 dishwasher goes into a drain/cancel cycle 10 to 20 minutes into any cycle, showing immediate error 6-4 if the overfill switch is open and 6-1 if the switch is closed. The overfill switch tested ok, the touch panel and circulation pump are new, and the switch connection is bypassed by direct solder of the wires to the switch. What could be causing this issue and what should I check next?

We have a 20-year-old Miele Megatronic W33 front loader. It has started filling, then emptying, and showing a red light opposite the tap symbol, no matter which cycle is started. Have checked the pump, inlet line filter, and inlet solenoid filter to no avail. What could be the issue and what else can I check?
