My refrigerator's ice maker is not making ice consistently, and the water dispenser is also coming out slowly. The ice maker worked fine for a week and then stopped making ice, only to start again unexpectedly. I have recently replaced the water filter. What could be the issue and what steps should I take to troubleshoot and fix it?

I have a refrigerator that is not freezing at the freezer end and not cooling at the refrigerator end. The compressor is running but has an open winding. I've successfully replaced a compressor before and want to know if it's necessary to match the amperage of the donor compressor and what to consider when replacing it. Additionally, if the suction line is iced up, does that indicate an overcharge or a freon leak? What pressure should I aim for when charging with R134a, and should I measure the pressure while the compressor is running or not? Finally, if the suction line frosts up after charging, but the freezer temperature doesn't drop below 20F, what could be the issue?
