My Speed Queen electric dryer won't heat up. It still spins, and we got it used about 7 years ago. I have the model number ADE4BRGS171W01. I tested the heating element and thermostat with a multimeter, and they both have continuity. What else could be causing the issue?

I have a GE dishwasher model PDT760SSF0SS, about 6-7 years old. The Start button has been malfunctioning for a few months, initially requiring harder presses and now not working at all. The bottom part of the button is rubber and is disintegrating. How difficult is it to replace the Start button, and is the part WD21X20299 compatible with my model?
