I recently replaced the belt on my Amana washer (mod.# XXXXX). The tension pulley appeared to be out of line with the other pulleys and moved easily. The washer worked fine for about two weeks but then stopped agitating but still spun. What could be the problem?

I have a Maytag Centennial top load washer, MVWC6ESWW, in Alaska that I use only 6 weeks in the summer while commercial salmon fishing. The washer has stuck on spin. I have replaced the timer (W10243947) but it does the same thing--stuck on spin cycle. I only have cold water connected to the washer; someone thought I might have a hot water sensor problem due to no hot water. The problem occurred only after about 20 washes. After replacing the timer last year, we still had no washer. I really want a washer this coming summer. Any advice?

I have a GE Profile side by side stainless Arctica dual compressor fridge/freezer that is ~ 5 years old. Every few weeks, the freezer raises in temperature to the point that the ice melts, and then the fridge begins to warm up. We have cleaned the coils, but the freezer is currently 9 degrees and the fridge is 44. What type of repair do we need?
