I have a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer (WTW6600SB2) with a flashing F50 code. The code appears about 2 minutes into the cycle, and resetting by turning off the power and pressing the pause/cancel button twice hasn't resolved the issue. What can I do to avoid the high cost of a technician coming out?

Hello, what is the Lt code on a Maytag MVWX700XL2 washing machine with a serial number of *****? The washer goes through a cycle, beeps, shows Lt on the display, and then starts the cycle over again unless the lid is opened. I contacted Maytag about this code, but they would not provide any information. I searched the internet and found no such code. The washing machine is 5 years old, and I plan to do the work myself. I have already replaced the pump three times as per the manual's self-test instructions.
