My Whirlpool Quiet Partner 2 takes more than an hour to complete a cycle. Is this normal, and if not, how can I rectify this problem? I don't have the manual and need to know how to get a PDF manual. Additionally, I'm interested in simple troubleshooting methods and healthy maintenance tips for the equipment.

I have a Maytag Centennial top load HE washer, model MVWC555DW0, serial# C52941637, about 3 years old. When I try to use it, the lid lock engages, but then the washer acts like it's going to start, and the lid lock disengages. I have tried resetting the lid, cleaning the latch and the other part of the lock, and checking for diagnostic codes, but I couldn't get it into diagnostic mode. What could be the issue and what should I do next?

My Amana washing machine does fine washing and rinsing, but the lid remains locked, and the red light for 'lid locked' remains on. What could be the issue, and how can I fix it?

I have a GE Profile dryer that has been working fine this morning, but on the current load, I push start and it runs for about 10 seconds and then stops. The dryer is about 7-8 years old and the model number is DPVH890GJ1WW. Is it possible for you to call me, or me to call you so I don't have to keep running back and forth from the dryer to my computer as you ask me questions?
