My dishes (mostly glasses) are cloudy and have some food residue on them after washing. I have a Maytag Model MDB4949SKZ0 dishwasher, which is 2 years old. I have tried rinsing everything well before putting it in the dishwasher, using a longer wash cycle, using the detergent with rinse aid, adding rinse aid, using the sani-rinse option, and cleaning the removable tray in the bottom of the dishwasher. What else can I do to resolve this issue?

I have a side-by-side Maytag refrigerator/freezer with a model number MSD2656KEU and serial number 50511116NE, which is over 10 years old. The 'stop bar' for the ice maker came off and got mangled in the 'corkscrew' that directs the ice to the dispenser, causing it to not stop making ice. I need to turn off the ice maker temporarily for a vacation and eventually fix it. How can I turn off the ice maker temporarily, and is it possible to replace just the stop bar?
