Need to replace an infinite switch on an Avanti range. The part number is EGO 50 57079 020. I can’t find a cross reference for this part and the available replacements only have seven terminals, while the original has eight terminals. Can the controller be substituted with any other controller like EGO or Robertshaw, etc?

My Maytag washer (model MVWX655DW1) started filling with water, rotated back and forth, but never spun and eventually stopped as if it had no power. This is the first time this has happened. The power cord looks fine, and there is power to the plug. What could be the issue?

I need to replace the water filter in my refrigerator but do not have access to the refrigerator as it’s in a different town. I would like to see if by using the model number and serial number someone can tell me which filter it is and if the enclosure for the water filter is stuck, what part number should I order in case I break it.
