One of the coils broke on the heater coil. We replaced that and the heater worked, but now doesn't shut down during the cool down cycle so the dryer overheats. Now the thermo fuse blew and the dryer wouldn't start. My husband used your suggestion about the thermo fuse (taping blue wires together) and it is now running but we still have the issue of the dryer overheating during the cool down cycle. What could be the issue and how can it be fixed?

I took the back off my Maytag Centennial dryer and disconnected two bundles of wires inside. I lost my written instructions on how to correctly reattach the wires. I need a picture or wiring diagram to know which colored wires go where. I looked for a wiring diagram inside the back of the dryer, but it was not there. Can you help?
