I have a GE refrigerator model GSS22JEMC BB. The ice dispenser got stuck on crushed ice, then stopped working entirely, causing ice to accumulate inside the door and around the dispenser opening. Additionally, the fridge motor is making a loud rumbling noise that stops when the door is opened. What should I do to fix these issues?

I have a dishwasher (model PLD2850RDC3, serial TH625556704) that won't operate. There is a 'NO HEAT DRY' light with a 3 Sec Lock and another light indicating low rinsing agent, even though it's filled. I've tried troubleshooting but haven't fixed it. A friend tried to get water from my refrigerator and the water wouldn't turn off. It eventually stopped by itself but since then, we can no longer get ice or water from the door. The icemaker still runs without any problem. What could be the issue and what should I do?
