Our electricity was out for two days and when it came back on, the first load of laundry I did came out soaking wet as if it skipped the spin cycle. Now, the next time I tried it, nothing happens. No water comes in. Lights light up but nothing starts. It's a Maytag Epic Z front load, about 8 years old. What could be the issue and how can I troubleshoot it?

I am working on a Maytag Maxima electric dryer (Mod # med6000xw0) and I am having an L2 error code. The power to the dryer outlet has been confirmed correct by an electrician, and there is 240VAC between the two hot posts and about 110VAC between each hot and neutral. The breaker has been reset and all recommended steps in the manual have been followed, but the problem persists. Additionally, the dryer does not start. What could be causing these issues and how can they be resolved?

My GE Profile PGB918 SEM4SS stove's right rear simmer burner has been problematic for years. The spark from the electrode does not light the burner, but I managed to get it working by raising the electrode slightly. However, the flame is not properly adjusted, and the simmer burner adjustment on the front of the stove has no effect. The flame seems to get a rush of gas or air at times, blowing it out before it runs smoothly. I have already replaced the orifice, but it didn't help. What else could be causing this issue?
