We have a top-loading washer model # WMO642HW from 2007. After each use, the drum slowly fills with about a gallon of water and then stops, staying filled. We have manually drained it once and used the EXTRA RINSE (TUB CLEAN CYCLE) a few times. What is the fix?

My Maytag MGD5801TW0 dryer, about 10 years old, won't heat despite replacing the High Limit Thermostat, Cycling Thermostat, Igniter, Radiant Flame Sensor, Gas Control Valve (where the coils get mounted to), Coils, Temperature Sensor, and Thermal Fuse. The burner stays lit for about 15 seconds then shuts off, and the dryer heats up but doesn't get as hot as it used to. There's also a hint of a gas smell. What could be causing this issue and what should I check or test next?

I have an old Amana side-by-side refrigerator (model ASD2627KEB, serial 50263483JG, approximately 15 years old). I replaced the water filter yesterday following the instructions, but the water will not flow through the filter. The old filter was hard to remove and had not been changed in years.
