Our Maytag washer, approximately 15 years old, has started making a huge amount of noise and vibration, moving the machine sideways. My husband tried lifting it from the back to solve the off-balance problem, but it didn't work. Is there a lever or something underneath the front part of the washer to get the balance back? The washer is not overloaded, and it's on a cement basement floor.

On a Panasonic DMR-ES46V VHS/DVD player/recorder, I am unable to find the 'Finalize' option in the DVD management menu after recording a DVD. I have followed the directions to select 'Drive Select' on the remote, then 'Function', 'Other Functions', and 'DVD Management', but the 'Finalize' option does not appear. What could be the issue?

We have a Maytag washing machine model MAH7550AGW that starts but stops a couple of minutes into the cycle with a clunk sound, beeps, and displays a message to finish the program. When trying to finish the program, it starts and stops again. What could be the issue and what steps can be taken to resolve it?

We have a 23-year old Maytag dryer LD0512 (model LDE512). It still works great but recently started making more noise than usual when in motion. It sounds like there is a little slippage and then it catches, but the running is noisy. I'm thinking the belt(s) need replacing. Is there anything else to look at replacing while I'm in there based on the description provided?
