Our refrigerator is not cooling adequately. The freezer cools to 20 degrees and the refrigerator cools to 54 degrees. A repairman said the compressor is bad and couldn't get it to kick on. After unplugging and replugging the unit, the freezer cooled to 43 degrees and the fridge to 60 degrees. What could be the issue and what steps should be taken to diagnose and potentially fix it?
