Our washer door is locked in midcycle. We have tried holding the button for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, unplugging it overnight, and holding the start button for 10 seconds. The machine is a front loader about 10 years old and would vibrate with large loads. We have been putting in small loads recently. What can we do to open the door?

While spinning a rinse load, my top-loading washer became off balance. I stopped it and corrected it. How can I continue the cycle without starting the wash all over again? The model numbers I have are WTW4616FW2 and WED4616FW0, and the serial numbers are c846 21269 and M906 12127 respectively.

My sink leaked water and it got into the back of the dishwasher where it plugs in. Now it makes a sound as if it is running, but the panel lights are off and won't turn on. The dishwasher is 3 years old, and the leak occurred when the faucet sprayer let go, causing water to flood in from the top of the counter and into the back of the dishwasher. I have turned off the breaker. What should I do?
