The bake function on my oven operates for a few seconds then blows the circuit breaker. I removed the heating element to inspect connections and found that one wire connector is welded to the frame of the range. Should I try to break it free and bend the connector so it is well clear of the frame? Additionally, there is some minor bubbling on the heating element. Is it okay to continue using the element or should it be replaced?
