The check filter light is on and the dryer will not heat. The filter and main tube are clean. The dryer was in use for a previous load and went into cooling mode. The unit would not power off and had to be unplugged. The issue happened 2 days ago, and the dryer worked fine after vacuuming it out but went into cooling mode again. The cooling light is on the whole time during the drying cycle, which was not the case in the past. Why does it show 'cooling' in the processing window of the panel, and could this be related to a power surge?

My Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher keeps tripping my house fuse. Is there a way to determine where the problem is coming from, and can it be repaired or should I consider getting a new machine?

I accidentally put a frozen chicken broth container with an aluminum liner in my Amana microwave hood combination, causing it to spark and burn two tiny holes in the white interior finish. Do I need to seal these holes to prevent further damage, and is there a specific paint I can use to repair the interior finish?

My Maytag Centennial washer model MVWC425BWO doesn't do anything. I checked the outlet with a circuit tester and it's good. I removed the rear access panel for controls and found power to the circuit board connector. I can see green lights inside the electronic control unit but no lights on the user side of the control panel. Is there a circuit protector for electronics, or do I need to replace the control circuit?

Hi, I have a GE dishwasher (model: GDF620HSJ2SS) that won’t run through cycles. It fills up, heats/steams, and I can hear a clicking/knocking sound that seems to be trying to initiate the switching of cycles, but nothing happens. The issue has been going on for a little over a week. I’ve cleaned out the filters, taken out the float sensor and cleaned it, and tried turning off the power and restarting it. What could be the problem and what should I do next?

I keep getting a UL code and the washer fills with water, spins very slowly, and will not drain. I ran diagnostics and got F50 with C1 and C2. What could be the issue, and what steps should I take to fix it?
