Will a Cabrio valve that controls fabric softener cause other problems in a Whirlpool WTW6400SW2 dryer, especially if it doesn't work and we don't use fabric softener? The normal cycle stops at 17 minutes, and the casual cycle works but has a slow start. I've replaced the rotor position sensor, but the issue persists. What could be causing this, and what should I check or replace?

We have a Whynter Built-In Ice Maker Model: UIM-155. The ice maker freezes but doesn't allow water to feed to the ice tray to make ice. The ice maker is 10 to 11 months old and has been experiencing this issue since the 3rd month of ownership. I have a KitchenAid dishwasher model KDFE104HPS0, approximately 2 years old. The wash cycle will not run, but the unit will drain when I cancel the cycle. There are no error codes or blinking lights. The unit fills with hot water but no wash follows. There is a small 1.5" square white plastic part that buzzes about 2 minutes in, and nothing happens thereafter. What could be the issue and what should I check or replace?
