The screen on my Profile Harmony dryer will not come on, even after the wash load is complete. It has been happening on and off for 2 weeks. Sometimes it communicates with the washer and allows me to select cycle settings, and sometimes it does not. I have tried unplugging the power cord, opening and shutting the dryer door, troubleshooting via the HELP settings on the washer, and pressing the HELP button on the dryer, but nothing makes it respond. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

When the laundry room is dark, there is a 'glow' coming from the inside of the washer and a small amount of light shining on the wall behind the washer. Everything is turned off. Why should there be light coming from the appliance, and is it harmful?
