We have a Frigidaire frost-free upright freezer, model no. FFU20FC6AW4, serial no. WB243323932. Over the last few days, my wife has noticed that the sides of the freezer feel slightly warm to the touch and there is a collection of frozen water (ice) in the bottom of the freezer. Is this normal? If not, what might be the cause and how does one correct the problem?

I have an Amana refrigerator (double doors on top) and freezer unit below, approximately 7 years old. The refrigerator door was ajar, and now the fridge section is not working, although the freezer continues to work fine. The freezer is also not making new ice. Is this something that can be fixed or do I need a new refrigerator?
