We have a GE PSCS5RGXCFSS refrigerator that isn't cooling at all. The fridge side temperature is at 55 and the freezer side at 20. A local technician replaced the motherboard, but it didn't resolve the issue. The technician suggested buying a new fridge. We'd like a second opinion before making a big purchase. What could be the problem, and should we repair or replace the fridge?

I have an electric wall oven model CWE5800ACE. When I turn on the oven to bake, an F-5 code flashes. Sometimes, I can keep trying and it will eventually start, but not always. What could be causing this issue, and is it something simple that can be fixed without investing too much in an old model oven?

Buttons on the Maytag temperature control panel don't work, and the freezer won't make ice in the dispenser. The temperature displays show current temps and appear to be working, but cannot be adjusted. I could not enter into program mode, and the pressure-sensitive control buttons have no effect. The model is MF D2561hes, and it's about 8-10 years old. I plan to do the work myself.
