We have a GE refrigerator model GFE29HGDIWW that is less than one year old. The refrigerator is generally quiet, but there is a loud noise from the ice maker pump that can be heard throughout the house, especially at night. What could be causing this noise and what can be done to fix it?

My Whirlpool washing machine is leaving fabric softener on my clothes, making them gooey. The problem started with the detergent, but I thought it was the blue softener. I poured Zep stain remover in the well to clean the cup that holds the softener. Can you help diagnose the issue and suggest whether it's the softener I use (Downey) or my Tide with blue crystals causing the problem?

When I switch my mixer on, the motor grinds but the paddle doesn’t move. My mixer is 2 months old and has been used 3 times without any previous issues. If it’s a simple fix, I hope you can tell me what to do; otherwise, I’d like to bring it back to Lowe’s and have them replace it. I’m not very mechanical.
