I have an Amana top-loading washer that is 2 years old. The machine emptied the water after my friend soaked clothes for 20 minutes, and it has been running with the lid up, the agitator not moving, and only the pump working for about 40 minutes. I have tried unplugging and plugging it back in, and even filling it with a large bucket of water, but it still drains the water without agitating or turning on any lights. I have a Scotsman SCN60PA nugget Ice maker with a drain pump that now runs every 2 minutes for about 1 second, which is more frequent than its previous schedule of every 30 minutes to every hour for 3-5 seconds. The pump still works, but it's annoying for it to activate so often for such a short duration. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?
