We have an AEG Favorit Control I dishwasher that has been malfunctioning intermittently for a few months. It often starts the cycle but fails to open the tablet trap door, finishes prematurely without the final wash, or leaves the tablet intact in the base. There are no error codes, except sometimes '9L' which seems related to water usage. The issue seems to worsen at high temperatures and often prevents the dishwasher from starting any cleaning cycle, even after resetting. What could be the problem, and is there anything we can do to test or fix it?
