Whirlpool front loader WFS1073DD front panel is dead. Tested voltage to the module and it's okay. Suspect the module has died. Having difficulty sourcing a replacement module as the machine is over 10 years old. Found part number is not correct W10289651. Can it be fixed? Where can I get the spare part and how much?

I have an Amana ARB2117AS refrigerator (top ref; bottom freezer drawer) that initially froze such that air did not reach the refrigerator compartment (freezer seemed cold), then after unplugging for 24 hours, air started flowing to the fridge. However, even after leaving it on medium setting for more than 8 hours, the freezer temperature remains at 34 degrees. Could this be a defrost thermostat/defrost timer problem? How easy is it to change? I already have parts from a repair clinic. Are there other possibilities?

My Magic Chef fridge (model McBr1020w) is not defrosting correctly. The freezer is working fine, but everything in the fridge is freezing. I suspect the timer might be the issue and I have the thermostat ready to replace. How do I replace the thermostat and is there anything else I should know?
