Whirlpool self-defrosting freezer model EV171NYMQ05 has a problem where water (condensate) accumulates on the inside bottom of the cabinet and freezes, requiring the removal of the evaporator cover to melt the ice. The drain tube to the condensate pan is clean, the unit is level, and it defrosts properly in the defrost cycle with no frost or ice on the evaporator coil. Why does this issue persist despite following the defrost procedure multiple times?
