Will a washer still go through all cycles even if the lid switch is bad? My washer fills up, agitates, goes through the spin cycle but won't spin, and goes through the rinse cycle but won't spin.

Can the refrigerator be run on gas, and does the ice maker need electricity to function? My Norcold 1200LRim refrigerator (year 2005) is running on gas but the ice maker isn't working. The freezer functions well, and ice in bags stays frozen, but the ice maker doesn't work. Water is connected, but we think it never reaches the ice maker. We don't know the previous state of the ice maker as the previous owner can't help. We are asking if the ice maker needs electricity to function since we are running on gas and only on electric when parked and plugged into land electric.

We just purchased a Profile dryer. It is not maintaining power, the light flickers on and off, and it sometimes starts but shuts off after a few seconds. The door switch latches but is difficult to open and close. What could be causing this issue and what should we do?
