I have a KEMC378KSS04. Suddenly it is beeping repeatedly and displaying a temperature probe on the screen on the top left. I have tried to stop it by shutting off the power but it starts beeping again in a few minutes after repowering. What can I do to stop the beeping and get this reset for use?

I have a Maytag Atlantis Quiet Pack / Heavy Duty / Intellidry Dry Control, Model # XXXXX Serial # XXXXX gas dryer. After large loads, there is no heat to dry the clothes. If you let it sit for a while or just do small loads, the heating element will stay hot and keep drying. What needs to be replaced so it will properly heat and dry the clothes regardless of the size of the load?
