My C: drive has only 6.83 GB of memory left (from 68.7 GB). My D: drive has 68.4 GB free from 68.5 GB. How can I free up space on my C: drive when there is plenty of room on D: drive, and why is the D: drive separate from the C: drive on my Acer Aspire 4720Z?

My desktop computer is barely getting a signal from my router which is several rooms away, but my laptop, sitting right next to my desktop, is getting a great signal. I assume this is because the external antenna on my desktop is not doing the job. Can I improve by getting a different antenna for my desktop? If so, is there a good one I should get?

I have been trying all day to sort out my daughter's laptop running Vista Home Edition. The original problem was that she could not log on due to 'unable to load User Profile,' which I fixed using System Restore. However, I ended up with a mess of unused programs. I tried to download 'Revo Uninstaller' to remove certain programs, but the machine would not allow me to download it. I also encountered issues with AVG Free, which I tried to uninstall but failed. I tried to download the 'AVG Remover' tool, but the same issue occurred. I have switched off 'Protection Mode' to allow trusted programs, but the Firewall is still on. I am at a loss to know what to do. Is it the remnants of AVG blocking the download of Revo, or is it Vista, or something else?
