I am trying to create a new email account in Outlook 2013 on my Windows 7 desktop, but the IMAP settings are causing issues. My computer wants POP3, and I can't create an account with the POP3 server. I previously had accounts in Outlook 2010, but had a problem with the .pst file and purchased Outlook 2013. Additionally, I've been charged multiple times for tech support and need assistance with refunds.

Outlook 2010 crashes when trying to view certain emails. Emails from some senders crash it about 90% of the time but not always. There are instances when it won’t crash it but then when I go back to view it later it will crash or vice versa. I can’t seem to find a common link with when or what emails it will crash with. My solution to view these emails is to close Outlook 2010, copy the PST file over the network to an old machine, and open the PST file in 2003 Outlook. No problems at all with the old computer.
