I booked an Uber last night for 21:10. The driver called me at 20:40 and told me I needed to cancel the ride because he had other jobs and couldn’t do it. I asked him to cancel as he’d left it so late I would get charged and he argued and hung up on me. He messaged me in the app asking me to cancel again and I again told him to cancel. He claims he couldn’t cancel the journey which I know not to be true. He then said I would just have to wait until he could get there. This Uber was my ride to work so I couldn’t wait and had to cancel or I would have been late. I need this charge refunded asap. I have a screenshot of the ride that was booked to help identify the driver. Does anyone else have access to this Uber account? Is there anything else the Computer Expert should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they’ll be able to help you.
