I have a Dell computer with Windows 7 and a virtual PC with Windows XP. I am having difficulty connecting to the Internet. My wireless AT&T router is accessed by all other laptops in the house without issue, but not my HP desktop. Sometimes I have to restart for hours until I get online. Sometimes I get an error message that I need to download a driver update for 802.11b/g, but there’s no such adapter on my computer. What could be causing this issue and what steps can I take to resolve it?
