I have a Dell Precision T5810 workstation running Windows 10, which is used with a scientific instrument. Recently, one of the two 7200 RPM SATA hard drives in a RAID configuration failed. I need to replace the defective drive (S/N: Z6EMY6JN, model: Barracuda 500GB, 7200 RPM SATA drive from Seagate). I want to know where to get a replacement and if it should be through Dell, and whether the replacement would be under warranty. Additionally, I need advice on whether to stick with the same model or consider other options.
