I am a teacher trying to transfer my domain from Weebly (now Square) to Bluehost, as Weebly has ended their education support and recommended Edublog and Bluehost. However, I am having difficulty with the transfer process. Bluehost says Register.com owns my domain, but I purchased it from Weebly. The domain has expired, and Weebly is giving me until September 29th to renew it. If I renew it with Weebly, can I still transfer it to Bluehost, and will I be able to renew it through another provider next time?
