My stepmother has a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Windows 8.1 that needs a wipe and reload. I don't have the original Windows 8 disk. Should I get the Windows 8.1 OEM version from Amazon for $80 with overnight shipping or the full version for $120? What are the risks/issues with the OEM version versus the full version? Is there a way to wipe and reload without the Windows 8 media since I have a legal version?
