I updated my password for my Apple ID a few minutes ago, but my MacBook Pro is still rejecting the new password. I tried resetting through Apple's online account reset tool, which went well, but the device continues to reject the new password. My computer also says 'no user identified' and shuts down. What can I do to resolve this issue?

I can’t login to my computer. I have an Apple Catalina system and an iPhone using the same Apple ID. I tried resetting through Apple's online account reset tool, but I had to get help from Infinity to restart my modem and they changed my ID and password. What should I do?
