I want to factory restore my Dell Inspiron m5030 to its original factory settings, but I don't have the administrator password because I bought it from a third party. How can I reset it to be like brand new?

I use Windows Live Mail and have transferred everything from an old hard drive to a new laptop. I need the old password for my Bigpond account. I am logged into my email account on an iPad and have security questions or a phone number on file to help reset my password. I have installed Windows Live Mail on the new computer and have reset the password, but I am still not receiving emails on the laptop. Can you assist further?
