I installed iWork from a CD but Pages won't open. I am using Mac OS X Version 10.6.5 and trying to install iWork version 9.0.3 Pages.

I have a Compaq Presario home computer and a Samsung GravityT/T-Mobile cell phone, both purchased this year. I need help transferring photos from my cell phone to my computer to start a file for uploading photos to websites. When I connect the phone to the computer using the data cable, I hear a noise indicating the connection, but I don't see a mobile phone icon in 'My Computer'. What should I do to transfer the photos?
