I have a second-hand tower computer with no instructions. On the back panel, there are three columns of three colored sockets. I need to know which socket acts as the line in to connect my MiniHifi player's phones socket to the computer for recording cassette tapes to CD. The model type reference is UTOW_ORI or 1, MS WHOL No MID 1084 396, S/N (NNN) NNN-NNNN400 306, and P/N-Pb 34247 401.

I've encountered the "NTVDM.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close" error on a Windows XP SP3 2005 vintage Compaq Presario laptop when trying to run a legacy program in full screen mode. The programs that run in a command prompt window work fine, and the programs that require full screen work fine in safe mode. I've followed the diagnostic procedures recommended by Microsoft and Microsoft forums, ran the hotfix plus other standard diagnostics, and checked for updates. What could be causing this issue and how can it be resolved without reinstalling Windows or SP2 & SP3?

I have a Gateway SX2380-UR308 with SN: DT9DEAA00123608E859200. My DVD player is not shown on 'My Computer' with the hard drive and other drives. When I go to Device Manager, it shows a yellow caution on the DVD drive or any USB DVD external DVD drive. How can I fix this issue?
