My Hotmail account is sending out unsolicited prescription-related emails to my contact list without my knowledge. I've been receiving inquiries from my contacts and notifications of failed emails, which I did not send. This has been happening daily for the past 5-6 days. I ran my computer through a scanning system but am unsure if it helped. I've had this email account for a long time and don't want to lose it, but I can't continue having my system send out these bogus emails. What should I do?

Every time I try to start my computer with Windows Vista Premium, I encounter issues. It says I need to install updates, but my attempts to do so fail. The computer crashes with messages like 'Collecting data for crash dump' and 'Initializing disk for crash dump'. I have checked and have plenty of disk space. My computer is only three years old and was recently serviced. I have to unplug it at least twice for it to work properly. What should I do?

When I click on the Hotmail icon in the toolbar on Internet Explorer 9, I get a blank screen and error 11004, even though I know there is mail in my inbox. This issue started after I installed Windows 7 about 6 days ago.

I bought a very old Dell laptop that runs extremely slow. I tried to remove unused programs, but after rebooting, none of my programs work, and Windows says it can't open them because it needs to know what program created them. What did I do, and what should I do now?

I am using a Toshiba (SATA) PH3150U-1EXB external drive on a Lenovo W700 with Windows 7. When trying to set up a 'Let me select' backup set, only the 'Desktop' appears in the select window under 'Computer'. The same issue occurs when trying to 'sync' files. How do I display the entire file set on the laptop?
