I forgot my password for my Toshiba laptop with Windows 8, and it didn't give me the option to reset it. I haven't tried using a password reset disk or other recovery utility because I don't want to lose any recent files. My daughter might have changed the password when she used it for online school about two months ago.

I have a temporary version of WordPerfect 20220. My real program arrived today, but I'm afraid to install it because the temporary version does not reproduce the photos in my earlier versions. The documents from past years have the Capital 'A' inserted in some places and what looks like an equal sign at others. During an online meeting, my Lenovo desktop suddenly powered off by itself. There was no power outage in my area. I turned it back on, but it powered off a second time. I powered down the electricity outlet and powered on after a little while, and the computer worked fine. This all-in-one desktop was purchased at Micro Center in 205. Do you hear any sounds when you hold down the power button? Have you tried unplugging the Lenovo computer for ten seconds and then plugging it back in? Is there anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?
