A 12-year-old Golden-GSD male dog is experiencing sudden-onset pain all over, including joints and neck. Despite negative Lyme tests, normal bloodwork, and normal urinalysis, an x-ray shows a mass in the chest. The vet has prescribed Tramadol and Doxycycline, but the dog's condition has not improved. What could be causing the pain, and are there any alternative treatments or diagnoses to consider?

My 10-year-old Border Collie mix was fine yesterday but this morning I found a large quantity of vomit including digested to undigested food and fluid. Since then, she has been not eating, drinking lots of water, and vomiting up the water within an hour or two. She is very inactive but awake and alert. I have felt around her abdomen and found no bloating, hard areas, or sensitivity. What could be causing this and what should I do?
